WDQC Submits WIOA Comments

After synthesizing input from multiple national and state organizations, WDQC today submitted comments on proposed regulations implementing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Our comments address several topics related to performance reporting, accountability, and data management. The tone is largely positive, as the comments praise proposed rules clarifying access to Unemployment Insurance (UI) wage records and affirming the importance of labor market information. We offer suggestions for improvement in the areas of defining performance indicators, credential reporting, and eligible training provider information.

Comments are due on Monday. We hope that the WDQC submission will be helpful to individuals and organizations that are still finalizing their own submissions.
