Workforce Development in the States: Progress and Possibility
WDQC hosted this panel discussion at the National Skills Coalition’s annual "Skills Summit," held just outside of Washington, DC.

Speakers included: Tiffany Smith, New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, Matthew Meyer, North Carolina Community Colleges, and the Workforce Credentials Coalition (WCC), and Nancy Sharkey, National Center for Education Statistics at U.S. Department of Education.  The discussion focused on the development of training provider scorecards in New Jersey, pilot programs on matching credentials with education and workforce data, and the progression of Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) grants to states.
