Tuesday, October 20, 2015

Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce conducted a study drawing on five databases to show the growing trend of  working while enrolled in postsecondary institutions. The report provides an in-depth analysis of what this trend has meant for different segments of society and what could be done to improve their chances of success. The authors put forward a set of policy recommendations to strengthen "the connections between work and learning," including funding "postsecondary education based, in part, on performance measured by labor market outcomes."
